QUICK OVERVIEW

The CoReMQ Workstation, Honda’s enterprise tool for ensuring global quality and safety, was redesigned into a modern, scalable solution that reduces inefficiencies for Honda Quality Engineers, enabling them to work more effectively in their daily operations.

By introducing flexible workflows, smarter automation, and enhanced collaboration tools, the workstation not only improves the user experience but also strengthens Honda’s overall operations, ensuring the company can continue delivering high-quality products in an increasingly competitive market.

👩🏽‍💻 Role & Scope
Senior Product Designer
Led research, UX strategy, and delivery across two billable phases—owning key features and aligning stakeholders through to development
📍 Project Summary
Honda’s CoReMQ platform had gone untouched for over 20 years—frustrating engineers with redundant steps, poor task visibility, and manual approval workflows.
In Phase 1, I led research at Honda HQ, shadowing engineers to map their workflows and identify five key system challenges. I synthesized findings into actionable insights and created three design principles—Adaptive, Proactive, and Complete—to guide a modular redesign. We delivered a future-state prototype featuring contextual layouts, smart workload alerts, and non-linear task navigation.
In Phase 2, I owned the redesign of the Homepage Dashboard and Approval Flow, improving navigation, surface-level task insights, and in-system notifications. I also supported the design of four additional features and collaborated closely with Infosys developers, documenting specs and aligning components using PrimeNG.
📊 Business Impact
6 dev-ready features approved by executives and ready for phased implementation
